The words came out rough from his stubble-covered mouth. The girl's bare shoulders felt smooth between his hands. He's always thought they were too large, too masculine. His big hands enveloped her.
Still, though she was bare before him, his lips only hovered by her face. She thought he was being honest; he thought he was being honest. But inside he knew he could never give her what she wanted.
