Benson Hedges

For the past week I haven't been able to listen to anything but music by the band fun.
It was surprising how quickly the obsession overtook me, so I wasn't going to let this pass without some good art coming out of it.

Anyway, this is based on the song Benson Hedges from their first album, Aim and Ignite. I used some imagery from the song as well as motifs from the album art.

The figure is Nate Ruess, the lead singer of the band. I'm not entirely pleased with how he came out, but the universe seemed determined that I would not be able to draw him. Probably because it knows how much I love him ;_; I cannot capture his beautiful face.

I'll upload a better picture later, hopefully (the downside of working in a sketchbook >_<). I just wanted to upload it right away cause I spent so long trying to get it finished.
